Now that some of my other projects are at a happy state, i have been using some of my free (HAR HAR) time to work on the quilt..
So that’s six squares done, out of a total of 25. I have about 5 more in various stages and one or two that are waiting to be unpicked to be corrected, but im really pleased with my progress so far.
Now i just have to psych myself up for the quilt finishing…
Just some fun things that have been on my mind recently. A mish mash of wedding ideas, thoughts for the house and random things i have been meaning to try 
Fig. 1 – Candy Bricks! One of the many things I have been thinking about with regards to our wedding.
Fig. 2 – Macarons! I have been wanting to have a go at making these for the longest time. I have become quite skilled at making the pavlova so i think these would be a mimi-mini version of that. One of these weekends….perhaps when the mama arrives! (Aug 3rd…counting down!)
Fig. 3 – Okay. Seriously. If i am going to be baking i need to look AWESOME. ‘Nuff said.
Fig. 4 – Quilt! After a rough start last weekend, i received my replacement power cord ($10.77 – thanks Ebay!) on Tuesday and began sewing my jelly roll strips together. I have a long (loooong) way to go…but its a start!
Fig. 5 – Something small we picked up at Ikea today to hang in the guest bathroom for our upcoming guests towels to hang on. Listen…no-one said we had to grow up….there’s a reason my mum still calls me Tinkerbell.
