I managed to score a great deal on some beautiful yarn this weekend when a local dyer had an amazing easter weekend sale. I grabbed the yarn up as soon as i found it and was even able to go and pick it up as she lives so close to Old Town.
I have to say, I am beyond thrilled with this yarn in person. The colors are absolutely beautiful and very true to the pictures listed on etsy. When i went to pick up the yarn it was all wrapped up in blue tissue paper and had a little hang tag on it with my name like it was a gift just for me 
Well, i guess in a way it was…that i bought…for myself 
So i couldn’t help myself, after winding up a ball last night I cast on and knit the first row of my newest project…

After being thrilled with the colors of the yarn and how soft it was, it’s nice to be able to work with a yarn and have it do just what you want without having to grab a wooden spoon and teach it a thing or two. I’m looking forward to working on this project. Some photos will be forthcoming, as well as a picture of my finished Wurm hat.
