For the record? Best birthday ever. I may have already said that once or twice, but it’s true. I have no idea how i get to be so lucky, but for now we’ll just go with it.
So here’s the setup on Saturday….I had to work until 2pm, then I zoomed my butt home and helped Miss M as much as I could with the rest of the set up. I may or may not have almost seen the Basement Dweller nekkid…but thats a story for another time. Lets just say it involved me collapsing on the stairs laughing so hard that no noise was coming out. Yes.
Around 4:30 Mr Hal showed up to pick up the birthday girl (me!) and drove me down to the Del Merei Grill for a beer so that he could escort me back to the party around 5 and I could make a proper entrance 
Fun. We had a fun time at the bar just chatting and by the time we got back to the Aspen, Miss L, Cori, My husband (Keith) and John had all arrived so we settled in for a beer and some chatter while we waited for more people to scoot in.
So much fun was had. Lots of friends and great food (Thank you! Thank you! Miss M!!!) and good times. I was gifted with a GIGANTIC challice that was complete with red rhinestones that spelled out ‘Birthday Bitch’…so perfect…so me…so what I drank out of for the rest of the night 
There was lots of running and jumping – a few clothes got destroyed along the way…but you know the rule about the Aspen..what happens there, stays there.
Unless there is photographic evidence…*evil grin*
So…Meg, Simon, Mej, Evan, Mickey, Andy, Michelle, Garth, Anna, Cori, Liz, Meg, Keith, John, Hal, Yve, Noy, Nicole, Thomas, Chris, Brundon, Britney, Adrian and anyone else I am forgetting to mention – thank you so so sooo much for making my 21st a memorable day! You all rock and i am so lucky to be able to call you all my friends.
