For the record…i am actually quite proud of myself and my progress on my to-do list. I managed to get almost all of it completed, other than the de-weeding and the sweeping. We’ll blame the rain for that one and i’ll try and get it done during the week instead
Got up early on Saturday morning and took the moo-cow dog for a walk. Drank coffee and built up some hit points for the day ahead. We left the house around 10am in order to hit the jewelry store once they had opened. Luckily for me, this store really stands behind its products and offered to fix (what was in my humble opinion) a badly designed clasp. Oh wait. No they didn’t…they asked me to pay for the repair and I told them I would rather have it repaired locally.

Thanks Tiffany’s, it’s always nice to know how much you care about your clientele
Next stop – Autozone! I love this place..they never treat me like I am stupid and without fail, they always go the extra mile. We were assisted by Scot who walked us through step by step on how to recharge our air con systems (both cars are in the midst of menopause at the moment). He even walked us out to our car, popped the hood and pointed out the Low side port. Now that’s customer service

Arctic Freeze, lightbulb – check!
And then…Home Depot for mulch. Easy in, easy out. Grabbed two bags and we were on our way.

Oh Orange – everything should be this easy
Sunday.
We started with a yummy brunch at the Silver Diner. B had a birthday card from them, so we only had to pay for one meal…and we got a free desert.

Every Sunday should start like this
Stopped to grab all our groceries and then home to vacuum the car!

Dog hair free broom-broom!
So lets see…
Back yard – mulched
Car – clean, cold and well lit
Bracelet – working on it
Pipe – cut. There was totally gross stuff in there.
Feels good to cross stuff off the list! Only thing I am really missing is the Roman Shade. But i kind of got sidetracked with a new crafty project. One that, according to my scientific calculations, should take only about 3.4 years to complete. Photos will be forthcoming
