So my weekend was thoroughly successful
Between the three of us, we managed to clean the house from top to bottom…and we even mowed the lawn. Note to self: NEVER let the grass get that long again. Lordy, lordy Janelle.
I jumped up the back and started fussing with some of the Creeping Jenny plants. By locating some of the smaller plants, I was able to separate them and move them around a little bit. The creeping jenny has covered the front of the garden beautifully, but I want it to spread backwards aswell…so i’m just lending a helping hand
I also managed to create my Terrarium! The Wee-b had suggested that I use a glass container that was gifted to us by Linda and Bill. Apparently…it’s a fly catcher! We are missing the glass top, but it’s definitely the perfect little container for a neat terrarium and now it’s being used and on display.
We headed out to Wolftrap Nursery on Saturday evening to pick out a Bonsai tree for the littleb as a late birthday present. While we were there I grabbed a couple Dwarf Asparagus Ferns, some Golden Spike Moss and a single White Rabbits Foot Fern to add to my terrarium…I also found a little fishing mudman – how could i say no?
I won’t go into the step by step details of how to put together a terrarium, as there are more than enough pages on the web dedicated to that already…but I did follow the instructions I found here and went with fresh and dried moss as opposed to charcoal as my terrarium is not going to be completely closed.
