I got home from work on Saturday and the boys (Poppy Jack & Wee-b) had gone to Lumber Liquidators to pick up 11 lengths of the quarter round we needed to finish off the flooring in the Living Room. As well as the quarter round, they had stopped in at Home Depot to rent a nailgun for the day.
AWESOME.
After successfully not nailing any part of my body, or anyone elses for that matter, we called the job DONE.
Sexy.
Poppy Jack had to make some little fixes to the door area that involved him ripping out most of the first row. I was not present for this step, which was probably a good thing as later he told me he had no idea what he was doing…but the end result was that his fix worked and our flooring fits around the door frame perfectly now.
A quick trip around the room to hammer some of the nails in with a nail punch (our compressor had a leak so the pressure was varying here and there), wood putty and a colour stick and Bob’s your uncle.
Well actually he is my uncle, but that’s a story for another day.
