I just want to boast for a quick second here. This past week i TOTALLY scored a free, brand new Cat genie. How did i do this? Patience my friend…i’m getting to that.
Thats right…Freecycle.
For the record, i am totally in love with Freecycle. Not only have we been able to pass on some great stuff to the local community (our dining chairs that we no longer need as well as some scrapbooking goodies), but we have also been able to snag a 7′ christmas tree (yay!) and now the cat genie. It’s true when they say that one persons trash is anothers treasure.
While we are on the subject of the cat genie, can i just say AWESOME? I picked this bad boy up on Thursday before work, but i had to head to a function in DC that evening so i had to wait until Friday afternoon to set it up. Apart from a slight hiccup (involving me taking apart the catgenie to locate the motherboard) it was easy sailing. I may have also tried to make the boys sit through an entire cleaning cycle.
No more cleaning of litterboxes? That deserves some kitchen dancing.
